Russian ADR/GDR Conversions into RUB-based Securities No Longer Supported

Dear Client,

As previously communicated and in line with many financial institutions, IBKR is reducing exposure to the Russian Ruble («RUB») . 

In order to further reduce risks related to the restrictions the Central Bank of Russia has imposed on Russian securities and the Moscow Stock Exchange («MOEX»), IBKR will no longer support conversions of American Depositary Receipts («ADR») or Global Depositary Receipts («GDR») into RUB-based securities. 

IBKR will allow transfers of non-sanctioned ADRs and GDRs to your account at another financial institution.
