The Spanish government on Thursday sold 2.6 billion euros ( $3.7 billion ) of 10- and 15-year bonds, but saw borrowing costs rise. The Treasury sold 1.81 billion euros of 10-year bonds, producing a maximum yield of 5.92%, up from 5.41% in a May auction. Bids exceeded supply 1.9 times. Spain also sold 814 million euros of 15-year bonds, producing a yield of 6.22%, up from 6.04% in a June auction. The sale produced a bid-to-cover ratio of 2.08.
