Broadcom–The chip maker is exploring strategic alternatives for its cellular baseband business, and has hired JPMorgan Chase in conjunction with that effort.
Conn’s Inc. shares jumped 8.3%. The retailer, which sells furniture, mattresses and other consumer goods, said Monday its first-quarter profit and sales topped expectations. The company said it continues to expect adjusted per-share earnings of $3.40 to $3.70 on same-store sales growth of 5% to 10% for fiscal year 2015.
