VTB Capital is searching for the individual to join us a Trader at Equity Derivatives Trading Desk (Global Markets — Equities)

Main responsibilities:

Booking, PnLs reconciliation, day-to-day dealing with Business Management, Control and Support functions
Market Data maintenance; active interaction with Quants and IT
Delta1 trading: gradually (depending on the exact background and experience) moving towards basket trading, cash and carry arbitrage in index and single stocks space, tail risk management
Optionality trading: gradually (depending on the exact background and experience) moving towards vanilla options
trading (indices and single stocks)
Dealing with Sales / Clients
Supporting senior members of the team in Moscow and in London.

Requirements:

Strong technical educational background from a leading University is expected
Master degree in economics/finance on top is a plus
Solid knowledge of excel is essential
Programming skills is a plus
Fluency in English & Russian is essential
Ideally 2-3 years experience in a relevant (equity derivatives) field
Role requires accuracy, attention to detail, ability to deal with markets stress and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
A candidate is expected to be motivated, ambitious, intellectualy curious and results-oriented individual. Ability to work constructively in a team is essential.
Naturally a candidate should aspire to build on strong analytical skills to develop the business acumen in the equity derivatives field.
