By way of context, year to date money flows are $121.5 billion. That means 13% of all the fresh money into U.S. ETFs this year came in just 4% of the time since the calendar turned to 2015. Moreover, despite all the volatility in U.S. stocks last week, virtually all the net inflows ended up in this asset class: 98% of it, or $16.0 billion. The largest inflows went to S&P 500 stocks, the large cap financials sector, and small cap equities. No surprise, but outflows were focused on European and Asian equities as well as emerging markets."
