Today BM pushed cash indices up mostly via their futures. Big Money was also busy buying small caps.

Per my plan I sold 1/2 of long term portfolios around 1434. My plan to unload remaining half at 1439 sometime this week.

RUT’s rally can count as complete

With this morning’s new high above yesterday’s it now has a completed 5-wave move up from last Friday, which can be counted as the completion of the a-b-c move up from November 28th, which in turn can be considered the completion of the bounce off the November 16th low. In other words, from an EW perspective, the RUT’s rally is done. A drop below yesterday afternoon’s low at 831.75 would signal trouble for the bulls. Below price-level support at 826 would confirm we’re going to get at least a larger pullback to correct the bounce before potentially heading higher. The more bearish interpretation of the larger pattern says we’re ready to start the next major decline.
